Rafael Lisbôa is a seasoned communications and journalism expert with over 23 years of experience, including roles as a TV reporter and producer for Globo TV, and as a senior advisor to the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro during significant events such as Rio+20 and the 2014 World Cup. Currently, Rafael serves as the Head of Communications for the C40 x GCoM Joint Program, focusing on climate finance and city-led climate action. In addition to this, Rafael is a strategic communications consultant, working closely with the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro. Rafael holds a Master of Research Degree from the Fundação Getulio Vargas and an MBA in International Relations, along with a background as a visiting scholar at Columbia University. A global traveler, Rafael has explored over 60 countries, adding diverse perspectives to their work.
