Stephen Davis

Stephen Davis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability, technical management, and capacity building. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Manager and City Adviser at C40 Cities since March 2018, Stephen has a strong background in developing low emission strategies and implementing related projects with local governments. Previous roles include Independent Consultant, Engagement Manager at Pegasys, Low Carbon Project Specialist at ICLEI, and environmental leadership facilitator at WESSA, where Stephen designed and led a program to develop youth leadership in sustainability. Additionally, Stephen has contributed as a behavior change researcher and has academic experience as a lecturer at the Energy Research Centre. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Operations Research from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand.
