Tia S.

Tia S. is currently the Senior Manager of U.S. Food Systems at C40 Cities, where they lead a working group of seven U.S. cities to promote plant-rich food procurement and reduce food loss and waste. Previously, Tia served as a Policy Advisor in the Mayor's Office of Food Policy for New York City, managing the Good Food Purchasing initiative and developing the office's first climate and environment strategy. They also held roles as a Policy Communications Associate at the Center for Science in the Public Interest and a Communications and Development Specialist at Grantmakers In Health. Tia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology with a focus on Food Systems and Public Health from Stanford University and a Master of Food and Agriculture Law and Policy from Vermont Law School.
