Don Young is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of C5MI since February 2017, specializing in driving complex business transformations with a focus on manufacturing optimization. Previously, Don Young held various prominent roles at Caterpillar, Inc., including Global Director of Enterprise Systems and Applications, where management of a 600-person team and oversight of $400M in expenditures occurred. Don Young's responsibilities as Global Undercarriage Product Owner included leading a business generating over $1.5B in sales, accompanied by substantial team management across multiple global facilities. Earlier experience includes roles as Factory Manager and Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Caterpillar, and 22 years of service as a Naval Officer in the United States Navy. Don Young's educational background encompasses executive studies at Duke University and advanced degrees from Troy University and Southern Illinois University, along with a business administration education from Bradley University.
