André Bircher

André Bircher has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. André started their career in 1998 as a Gesamtprojektleiter at ALTECO GmbH, where they worked until 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they served as a Maschinentechniker HF / Projektleiter at Rodotec AG. André then joined Aerolite in 2002 as a Konstrukteur before moving on to ALTECO GmbH again in 2003 as a Gesamtprojektleiter. In 2005, André joined medmix as the Head of Customer Service DENTAL/INDUSTRY/CONSTRUCTION/METERMIXING, where they managed change, integrated locations, and had responsibility for supply chain management processes. André stayed with medmix until 2009.

In 2010, André joined SWISSINT - Swiss Armed Forces International Command as the KFOR SWISSCOY Contingent 22 / Chief NSE Procurement Officer (NATO: OF-1). André worked there for a brief period before joining Aerolite in 2011 as a Projectmanager for AIRBUS Helicopters H-135 / H-145. André later transitioned to Leister in 2012 as a Strategic Purchaser and then moved to RUAG in 2014 as a Strategic Procurement Manager Dornier 228 NG. André's most recent role is as a Procurement Manager Projects and CAPEX at CABB, where they have been working since 2018.

André Bircher has a diverse education history with a focus on management and technology. André started their education journey in 1993 at TEKO Schweizerische Fachschule AG, where they pursued Maschinenbautechnik/Maschinentechnik/Techniker and received a Diploma as a Techniker HF Maschinenbau in 1996. André then attended Private Hochschule Wirtschaft PHW Bern from 1999 to 2002, specializing in Marketingmanagment, and achieved the degree of NDS Wirtschaftstechniker FH. In more recent years, André Bircher studied at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland, where they completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Supply Chain & Logistikmanagment in 2014. André also obtained a CAS in Strategic Management from the same institution in the same year.
