Dannie Romney

Dannie Romney is the Global Director of Development, Communications, and Extension at CABI, a position held since 2007 where they provide strategic leadership in addressing plant health issues and enhancing stakeholder interactions. They previously served as the Acting Director for the Enabling Innovation theme at the International Livestock Research Institute from 2005 to 2007, managing multidisciplinary teams and focusing on innovation systems in livestock. Dannie has also held positions as a Principal Scientist at the Natural Resources Institute and as a Visiting Scientist at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán. They earned a PhD in Ruminant Nutrition from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne between 1994 and 1998.
