Gary Ernest

Gary Ernest is an experienced senior executive with broad international finance, operating, and audit expertise, having served as CFO of a global business division. Gary was a board member and Chair of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee at Kingston University from 2012 to 2019 and held various finance roles at Unilever from 2001 to 2010, including VP Finance, Risk Management & Control and VP Corporate Audit. Gary also worked as the Director of Risk & Internal Audit at Rentokil Initial from 2011 to 2020. Currently, Gary is an External Member of the Audit Committee at the University of Cambridge and a NED and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at CABI. Gary earned a Master of Arts (MA) from the University of Cambridge between 1979 and 1982.
