Javier Delgado

Javier Delgado is the current VP of Finance at Cabify. Prior to their current position, Javier was the Head of Finance at KIKO MILANO from October 2011 to July 2017. While at KIKO MILANO, Javier managed a finance team of five people and was responsible for the full analysis of the current and future business units in the USA. Javier also oversaw the annual Budget and Forecast planning and control and coordinated monthly, quarterly and annual closures. In addition, Javier implemented action plans to improve the retail and e-commerce profitability as well as KPIs and dashboard metrics for the retail and e-commerce business. Some of Javier's notable achievements include completing the implementation of standard corporate accounting, control and planning procedures in the USA.

Before KIKO MILANO, Javier was an Auditor Senior III at EY from September 2007 to October 2011. As Auditor Senior III, Javier was responsible for planning, strategy, and execution of audit procedures. Javier also coordinated and supervised work teams of more than five people, both in Spain and abroad. Javier reviewed Statutory Financial Statements and Financial Reports for Government Institutions and performed accounting analysis of customer transactions (under IFRS, Spanish GAAP, and US GAAP). Furthermore, they conducted auditing of business processes (SOX, “Sarbanes-Oxley”) and reviewed cost models. Some of Javier's notable achievements during their time at EY include overseeing several projects that received excellent feedbacks from superiors (rating 5/5).

Javier Delgado has a Double Bachelor in Business Administration and Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Javier also has a Business Management degree from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and a Business Administration degree from Södertörn University. Javier is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at EAE Business School.
