João Correia

João Correia is the current Chief of Ride-Hailing at Cabify. João has held this position since May of 2018. Prior to that, they spent four years as the Global Head of Finance for Easy (Easy Taxi). In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the finance departments for a group of companies and for forecasting the business plan for eight countries in Central and South America.

Before their time at Easy, João spent four years as the Director of Finance for JFS Angola - Constructions. In this role, they were responsible for rebuilding the accounting department, preparing monthly financial and management reports, overseeing budgeting and accounting, and supporting the General Manager with strategy planning.

Prior to that, João spent five months as the Director of Finance for PopArt Garment Factory.

João Correia started their educational career by obtaining a degree in Economics from Universidade do Porto. Afterwards, they completed an Endeavor in Scaling Entrepreneurial Ventures from Harvard Business School. Finally, they obtained an MBA in Finance from Instituto Europeo de posgrado - (CEU Business School).
