Georgina's innate understanding of the unique qualities of wool seems to be part of her DNA; her great, great grandfather was the founder of Thomas S Beaumont & Sons, a leading buyer of Australian superfine merino wool and the starting point of four generations of wool buyers. With quality and durability central to the brand's uniqueness, Georgina is also proudly committed to keeping production in Australia, ensuring that Cable garments surpass those of rival brands due to their integrity of design, manufacture and finish. Cable prides itself on achieving the Coveted 'Woolmark', which ensures the use of pure new wool and is recognised throughout the world as a symbol of quality and reliability.

Cable is also a proud participant of the international campaign for wool. convened by his royal highness the prince of wales, the campaign for wool brings together farming and textile industries with wool organisations from across the world to promote the unique natural properties of wool.
