Brian Rollick recently completed a PhD in Physics at the University of Tennessee, where their research focused on quantum communication and metrology, specifically the atmospheric effects on optical transmission. They held the position of Graduate Research Assistant from 2018 to 2022 and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from 2016 to 2018. Brian also gained engineering experience as a Lead Engineer at Volta Technologies in 2016 and contributed to tech support at Mine Safety Appliances from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they are a Lead Architect and Intern at CableLabs, where they are building a Quantum Key Distribution testbed.
