Daryl Malas

Daryl Malas is a technology professional with extensive experience in the cable industry, currently serving as a Distinguished Technologist in the Advanced Technology Group at CableLabs since January 2008. In this role, Daryl leads wireless technology research projects, reporting directly to the VP of the group. Previously, Daryl held positions such as Principal Architect, where responsibilities included advancing video technologies and understanding the implications of emerging formats on distribution networks. Daryl’s prior experience encompasses various roles at Level 3 Communications, First Horizon Home Loans, Broadband Utilities, Sonus Networks, and McLane Foodservice Distribution, focusing on voice network integration, IP networking, and VoIP communications. Daryl holds a BA in Business from LeTourneau University.
