Irene MacAluso

Irene Macaluso serves as the Lead Architect at CableLabs since November 2021 and has been a Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin since 2008, focusing on areas such as Wireless Networking, Machine Learning, Cognitive Networks, and Dynamic Radio Resource Management. Irene has developed machine learning solutions for various communication networks, including LTE, 5G, cognitive networks, and the Internet of Things. Previously, Irene worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Palermo from 2007 to 2008, where a project was led on developing an outdoor museum tour-guide robot, coordinating a team of Ph.D. and graduate students. Irene holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Robotics and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, both from Università degli Studi di Palermo.
