John Bevilacqua

John Bevilacqua is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and network architecture. Currently serving as Principal Architect for FTTP Technologies at CableLabs since January 2024, Bevilacqua previously held the position of Distinguished Architect at Comcast from January 2013 to December 2023, where responsibilities included leading engineering and architecture for the syndication of DOCSIS gateways. Bevilacqua also served as Executive Director of Network Architecture at Comcast, overseeing testing teams and enhancing product readiness for deployment. Prior experience includes founding Silver Lake Consulting, working as a Senior Consultant at YAS Broadband Ventures, and providing independent consulting services at CableLabs. Bevilacqua's early career included roles at UnixOps and earned degrees in Telecommunications (MS) and Aerospace Engineering (BS) from the University of Colorado Boulder.
