Martha Lyons is an experienced professional currently serving as Director and Principal Strategist in Future Markets & Insights at CableLabs since April 2016. In this role, Martha leads an insights team focused on researching emerging end user needs and market trends, while also managing relationships with hyperscalers and application developers. Previously, Martha co-founded The Plastic Ocean Project and held various leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard, where responsibilities included new services development, strategic incubation, and e-commerce solutions. Martha holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Duke University, a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, and has completed the Tuck-SCTE executive leadership program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
