Tao Wan

Tao Wan is an accomplished professional in the field of computer science with extensive experience in security architecture and research. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Carleton University since January 2019 and a Principal Security Architect at CableLabs since September 2018, Tao has a robust background that includes significant roles at Huawei Technologies as a Researcher focusing on SDN and mobile security, and as a Senior Security Architect at Cactus Commerce, where the security program for Microsoft Commerce Server was managed. Prior experience at Nortel involved technical leadership in VoIP security, contributing to the security of the Communication Server 1000. Tao's academic journey led to a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carleton University, complemented by an M.Sc. from the University of Regina and a B.Sc. from Beijing Jiaotong University.
