Kaiting Li is a Process Engineer at Cabot Microelectronics, having joined the company in June 2017, after serving as a Research Intern in 2016. In the current role, Kaiting has made significant contributions to the characterization and optimization of ceria nanoparticles, collaborating with scientists and suppliers to enhance polishing rates and develop new slurry formulations. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University, focusing on solid acid fuel cell electrodes and VLSI design, as well as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Hunan Valin Steel Co., Ltd., where Kaiting implemented process improvements in steel manufacturing.
