J.T. Haran is the Chief IP Counsel at Cabot Corporation, bringing over 15 years of experience in intellectual property law. They previously served as the lead IP attorney for Factorial Energy, where they developed and implemented the company's IP strategy. Prior roles include Senior IP Counsel at Entegris, supporting the microcontamination control division, and as a Senior IP Counsel and Patent Portfolio Manager at Corning Incorporated, focusing on the Gorilla Glass business. J.T. began their career as a Primary Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office after earning a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
