David Osuna is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCL, researching the relationship between smoking and lung cancer. Osuna has a robust background in cancer biology, having completed a PhD at Queen Mary University of London, where a 3D culture platform was developed to study cancer stem cells and stromal cells. Previous roles include serving as a Laboratory Demonstrator at Barts Cancer Institute and an Early Detection Intern at Cancer Research UK, where skills in workshop organization and patient involvement were honed. Academic qualifications include a BSc in Molecular Biology from UCL and an International Baccalaureate from Colegio Internacional de Sevilla San Francisco de Paula.
