Leopold H. is a PhD candidate at the University of Luxembourg, specializing in multilingual, code-switching speech processing, with a focus on low-resource languages and applications in Conversational AI and Human-Computer Interaction. In addition to academic pursuits, Leopold serves as a Technical Lead and Database Performance Engineer at CACEIS and works as a Speech AI Researcher at SproochTek, leading independent research in applied Speech AI. Prior experience includes roles at RBC Investor Services and European Fund Administration, where Leopold held various titles such as Database Engineer and Senior Oracle DBA, demonstrating leadership in database and middleware management, data architecture, and enterprise data governance. Leopold has an extensive educational background, including a Doctorate and a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Luxembourg, as well as an MBA from Henley Business School.
