Miral Abbas

Miral Abbas, MPH, is an experienced public health professional currently serving as the Health Partnerships Coordinator at CACF: Coalition for Asian American Children and Families. Miral leads health research and programming efforts, managing partnerships with over 40 community-based organizations and 100 patient navigators/community health workers to enhance health equity for AAPI/MENA communities in NYC. Previous roles include Program Coordinator at the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health, where Miral co-facilitated health education programs, and various positions at Columbia University, including Graduate Research Assistant and Teacher Assistant. Miral has also worked with organizations such as the NYC Department of Health, Children First Medical Group, and March of Dimes, focusing on maternal health, health education, and population health improvement projects. Miral holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
