Chuck Shaw is an experienced GIS Administrator, currently serving the City of Logan since April 2003, where responsibilities include managing personnel, software, and departmental budgets while maintaining an Enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS). Prior to this role, Chuck held the positions of GIS Coordinator/Wetland Coordinator at Box Elder County, implementing mapping technologies to support cultural and natural resource management, and Wetland Specialist at the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, creating a GIS wetlands database. Chuck’s career also includes various roles focused on wildlife education and management, as well as a foundation in data collection and specimen curation during time at Utah State University. Chuck holds a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management with a focus on Wildlife Biology and Ecology from Utah State University.
