Mikkel Bo Schmidt

Mikkel Bo Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mikkel Bo started their career as a Design Consultant and Advisor at MIBOSC ApS in 1997. In 1999, they became the Lead Interactive Designer at Human Zoo A/S, followed by a role as a UI Designer at InterNord Web in 2000. In 2005, they joined Designit A/S as a Concept Designer, where they managed and participated in various projects focusing on interactive solutions for web and handheld devices.

In 2008, Mikkel worked as an Industrial Designer at Made By Makers until 2010. From 2009 to 2016, they served as the Head of Product Design at Tradeshift, where they played a crucial role in product development. In 2016, they co-founded Biowatch Group and worked as a Design Advisor. Mikkel Bo also joined Skyspoc as an Advisory Board Member.

Most recently, Mikkel joined Captego in 2018 and held multiple roles, including Co-founder, CEO, and Head of Product until 2021. Currently, they remain with the company as a Design Advisor. Throughout their career, Mikkel has demonstrated their expertise in design, product development, and advising companies on design-related matters.

Mikkel Bo Schmidt began their education in 1984 at Bavnebakkeskolen, where they completed their primary education. Mikkel Bo then enrolled at Aalborg University in 1998 and studied Humanistic Informatics for one year. Afterward, they pursued a M.Sc. in Industrial Design at Aalborg University, which they completed in 2005.
