Dean Carson

Dean Carson is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, currently serving as the Managing Director of Cade Group, LLC since 2024. Previously, Dean held the position of Senior Medical Affairs Consultant at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.), focusing on global medical strategy for CNS early assets. Dean's extensive experience includes roles as CEO of Viridia Life Sciences and EmpathBio, both subsidiaries of ATAI Life Sciences, where innovative treatments for treatment-resistant depression and PTSD were developed. Additional leadership positions have been held at DemeRx, Inc., Saniona, and Katana Pharmaceuticals, emphasizing expertise in CNS, drug discovery, and neonatal health. Dean's academic credentials include a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine and a PhD in Neuropharmacology from the University of Sydney.
