Rony Karam

Rony Karam is a seasoned professional in intellectual property with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Head of Intellectual Property at CAE since January 2019, Rony has previously held significant roles, including Patent Agent at CRIQ and Patent and Trademark Agent at Anglehart et al. Notably, Rony worked as Senior Innovation Manager and Manager of Intellectual Property and Innovation at Loto-Québec. Rony started the career as an Intellectual Property Manager at MAZ Laboratory inc. and has experience as a Teaching Assistant at McGill University in Discrete Mathematics and Mathematical Logic. Rony's foundational experience includes a role as a Patent Agent Trainee at Ogilvy Renault. Rony holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and a Minor in Biotechnology from McGill University, completed in 2002.
