Sharon McCarthy

Sharon McCarthy is a seasoned professional in insurance and risk management with extensive experience in leading roles. Since July 2023, Sharon serves as the Global Leader of Insurance and Risk Management at CAE. Prior to this role, Sharon worked at Resolute Forest Products as the Manager of Risk Management from April 2017 to July 2023. Sharon's career in risk management began at Domtar, where Sharon held the position of Analyst from April 2012 to March 2017. Earlier experience includes serving as the Manager of Corporate Insurance at CGI Group from 2004 to 2011. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Concordia University and additional educational credentials from McGill University.
