Massimo Morichi has held several high-level positions throughout their career. Massimo started in 2005 as Vice President of Research & Development at Canberra Industries. In 2011, they joined AREVA, where they served as the Director of Research, Development, and Innovation for the AREVA Group, as well as Senior Vice President for Corporate R&D. During their time at AREVA, they also led the Fukushima project as a WG Leader for Site Remediation. In 2016, they founded CAEN SyS and became the CEO. Massimo also became the Executive Vice President of CAEN SpA in the same year.
Massimo Morichi started their education journey in 1980 at Sapienza Università di Roma, where they pursued a Doctor degree in Physics. Massimo completed this program in 1985. Following that, from 1985 to 1989, Morichi attended ITIS Technical Institute E.Fermi Rome, where they obtained an Engineer's degree with a specialization in Nuclear Energy.
In terms of additional certifications, Morichi became an Areva Senior Expert Nuclear Measurement in June 2007, after receiving training from Areva. Additionally, in April 1997, they obtained certification as a Qualified Radiation Protection Expert from the Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali.
