Askhan Eliasy

Askhan Eliasy is the Co-Founder and CTO at Caena. Prior to this, they were the owner of Eliasy Consulting, a construction engineering company specializing in oil and gas platforms.

Eliasy started their career as a construction engineer with Constructionarium, a 6-day working field course for top students at the University of Liverpool. There, they supervised a team of 16 students in building a scaled down version of Ravenspurn North, a North Sea gravity oil platform. The student version was a 4 meter squared concrete caisson with a steel scaffold superstructure and plywood platform.

After successfully completing the Constructionarium course, Eliasy went on to start their own company, Eliasy Consulting. Eliasy Consulting quickly became a leading construction engineering company specializing in oil and gas platforms.

Under Eliasy's leadership, Eliasy Consulting has designed and built some of the most innovative and efficient oil and gas platforms in the world. In recognition of their work, Askhan Eliasy was named one of the "Top 50 Most Innovative People in the Oil and Gas Industry" by Oil and Gas iQ in 2015.

Dr. Askhan Eliasy has a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Liverpool, as well as an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General, from the same school. Askhan also has a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil and Structural Engnineering from the University of Liverpool. In addition, they have certification from Stanford University in Game Theory, certification from the University of Michigan in Web Development & Coding, certification from IBM in Developing Cloud Native Applications, and certification from deeplearning.ai in Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning. Finally, they have a certification from THE INSTITUTION OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH in Managing Safely.
