Ian Vickers

Ian Vickers has extensive experience in the aviation industry, spanning over three decades. From August 1987 to August 1995, Vickers worked as a Mechanical Fitter at BAE Systems, focusing on manufacturing and customer support. Vickers served as Managing Director of Self-employed Ltd Company from September 1995 to March 2004, handling contracts on various types of aircraft in the UK. Following this, Vickers spent nearly 18 years at British Airways Maintenance Cardiff Limited, holding the roles of Lead Technician and Authorised Technician, with key responsibilities in quality assurance, inspections, and staff training. Currently, since January 2022, Vickers works as an Engineer at Caerdav. Vickers holds an ONC in Aeronautical Engineering from Macclesfield College of Further Education, completed in 1990.
