Philip Martin

Philip Martin is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Director of BESS Optimization at Caerus Commodities since December 2024, focusing on revenue optimization for battery energy storage systems (BESS). Prior to this role, Philip worked at Hunt Energy Network as a Quantitative Strategist, where revenue maximization algorithms and forecasts for BESS were developed across ERCOT markets. Philip also held roles including Machine Learning Engineer II and Python Software Engineer, contributing to algorithm design and automations for energy markets. Earlier experience includes software engineering roles at The University of Texas at Dallas and various internships in web development and design. Philip holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, completed in 2021.
