Guillermo Cabral has worked as an Economist Principal at CAF -banco de desarrollo de América Latina- since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Economist at the same company from August 2019 to December 2022. Guillermo also has experience as an Instructor at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities from January 2016 to June 2019. Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis from July 2015 to December 2015. Guillermo Cabral completed their education in the field of Economics. Guillermo earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Catolica Nuestra Señora de la Asunción in Paraguay from 2004 to 2008. Guillermo then pursued Graduate Studies in Economics at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella from 2010 to 2011. Subsequently, they attended the University of Minnesota and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Economics from 2013 to 2015. Later they continued their studies at the same institution and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from 2013 to 2019.
