Leonardo Mesias

Leonardo Mesías is an accomplished engineer and economist with over 20 years of experience in private banking, environmental issues, and public-private partnerships. They have worked internationally in numerous countries, leading impactful projects related to urban infrastructure and sustainable tourism. Currently, they are a Principal Executive at CAF -banco de desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe, focusing on tourism initiatives across several Latin American nations. Additionally, they have served as a professor for over a decade, imparting knowledge in fields such as macroeconomics, financial modeling, and project finance. Mesías holds a Mechanical Industrial Engineering degree and a Master's in Finance from the Universidad de la República.
