Monica Obando

Monica Obando has over 20 years of experience in human resources. MONICA is currently working as the Human Capital Director at CAF -banco de desarrollo de América Latina-. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at Concentrix, including Latin America & Caribbean Human Resources Vice President and Latin America & Caribbean Human Resources Director. MONICA also has experience as an HR Country Leader at Hanesbrands Inc. and as an HR Manager at Belcorp. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Credomatic, where they implemented strategic HR processes in the Marketing and Sales Department.

Monica Obando obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UNAM Universidad Autónoma Monterrey in the years 1995 to 1999. In 2017 to 2018, they pursued an Executive MBA with a focus on International Business at INCAE Business School. In 2018, they attended Babson College to study Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Esade to explore Doing Business and Developing Talent in Europe, and Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business for Doing Business with a Changing China. Additionally, in 2020, Monica Obando obtained certifications as a Certified Executive Coach from INCAE Executive Education and as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from Success Unlimited Network.
