Rony Vargas

Rony Vargas is an experienced IT professional specializing in cloud infrastructure and systems. Currently serving as the IT Infrastructure and Systems Lead (Cloud) at CAF - banco de desarrollo de América Latina since March 2021, Rony oversees the planning, migration, and deployment of cloud platforms. Previously, Rony worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Brink’s, focusing on Microsoft-based systems, and held roles at Ancadia Systems LLC, Dell, and Banco Nacional de Panama, where responsibilities included system administration, IT security, and infrastructure management. Rony's career began as an Instructor and Training Manager at New Horizons CLC, and an Enterprise Technical Support Specialist at Dell. Rony holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Universidad Interamericana de Panamá.
