Sergio Avilés is an experienced economist currently serving as Principal Executive for the Private Sector at CAF - Development Bank of Latin America in Panama since April 2021. With over 15 years of expertise in multilateral development banking, Sergio has held various significant roles at CABEI, including Coordinator of Financial Institutions and Strategic Programs, Coordinator of the Finance for Development Unit (FINDES), Coordinator of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Unit, and Specialist in the MSME Unit.
