Sergio Robredo Nuñez

Sergio Robredo Nuñez has extensive experience in finance and banking, with a focus on structured finance and investment. Sergio currently holds the position of Head of Financing and Investment for productive sectors at CAF - banco de desarrollo de América Latina, where they are responsible for managing a large team and overseeing the origination, structuring, and execution of structured finance transactions. Prior to this, they worked at Banco Santander Mexico as the Head of Structured Export & Agency Finance - Global Corporate Banking, where they successfully originated and executed various financing transactions. Sergio also has experience at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG and Depfa Bank, where they held positions in structured export finance and structured finance solutions for the public sector. Sergio's career also includes roles at BBVA, where they served as the Vice President of Structured Finance LATAM and as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager. Throughout their career, Sergio has demonstrated a strong ability to develop and execute complex financial transactions and has achieved significant revenue growth for the organizations they have worked for.

Sergio Robredo Nuñez has a comprehensive education background with a focus on finance and business administration. Sergio obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Business Administration with majors in Finance and Marketing from Basque Country University in Bilbao in 1995. In 1996, they pursued an MBA with a specialization in Business Administration, majoring in Finance from Instituto de Empresa Business School in Madrid. In 2000, they completed a Master's in Corporate and Investment Banking from BBVA School of Finance in Bilbao.

Sergio has also acquired several professional certifications throughout their career. Sergio became a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) in 2004 through the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder status in 2001 from the CFA Institute.

In terms of postgraduate studies, they completed a postgraduate diploma in Comprehensive Talent Management at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2016.

Additionally, Sergio has obtained further certifications in Credit Management from GARP.
