Patrick Clinger

Patrick Clinger is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Raptive since August 2023, Clinger also founded BidFilter in February 2018 to combat malicious ads and improve user experience, along with developing the BidFilter Chrome extension. Prior to their current role, Clinger was the Senior Director of Engineering at Fora from October 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included translating business objectives into engineering strategies and mentoring teams. Clinger's career highlights include founding and leading ProBoards, Inc. from January 2000 to October 2021 as President and CEO, establishing it as the largest free forum hosting service on the Internet, and serving as Chairman of the Forum Industry Council from June 2014 to January 2016.
