Catherine Van Dyke

Catherine Van Dyke is the Deputy Director of Water Policy at Community Alliance with Family Farmers, where they manage projects that center small-scale farmers in California's water policy discussions. Previously, they held positions such as Program Manager at The SF Market, focusing on sustainability and community engagement, and Contract Researcher with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. Catherine earned a Master’s degree in Energy and Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, where they also received the Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award during their tenure as a Graduate Student Instructor. Their early career included roles in nonprofit development and agricultural finance, emphasizing support for underserved farmers.
