John Birchenough

John Birchenough is the Head of Integrated Funding and Business Innovation at CAFOD, where they have held several key positions, including Interim Head of Humanitarian Programmes (Africa) and Senior Emergency Response Officer (Africa). Previously, John gained experience as a Project Manager at Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Deutschland and as a Delegate/Country Representative for Caritas Schweiz in Serbia-Montenegro. They also served as a Country Funding Manager for Norwegian Church Aid in Sudan from 2007 to 2012. John began their career as an intern at the United Nations OCHA in 1999.
