Tim Madeley

Tim Madeley is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Head of Secondary Schools and Youth Programme at CAFOD since January 2020. Previously, Tim held the role of Secondary Teacher from September 2018 to December 2019 and served as Director at the Hexham and Newcastle Catholic Schools Partnership from October 2015 to September 2017. Tim's extensive background in education includes multiple positions at Carmel College, including Assistant Principal and Director of 6th Form, Curriculum Leader of RE, and Assistant Curriculum Leader of RE from 1998 to 2017. Tim began a teaching career as a Teacher of RE at St Bede’s Catholic Academy from September 1993 to July 1998. Tim's education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theology from Heythrop College, a PGCE in Religious Education and Drama from Durham University, and a PGDE in Education Management from Teesside University.
