Brad Hudson

VP, Cybersecurity at CAG

Brad joined CAG in July 2015 bringing with him over 17 years of experience in various areas of IT such as system and network analysis, security assessments, risk management, incident management, vendor management, and project management. He has worked in areas ranging from government, public corporations, and private enterprises.

Brad serves as a Virtual Information Security Officer for multiple higher education organizations and is an integral component to helping them maintain compliance with various regulatory agencies. He conducts vulnerability and regulatory assessments and is familiar with multiple security frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001. He has conducted SOX, SOC 2, and FINRA regulatory pre-assessments for large public and private entities. Brad identifies gaps and recommends security remediation for clients who are under regulatory compliance for HIPAA, CJIS, PCI, GLBA, GDPR, and FERPA.

Brad has architected technical security solutions across many types of hardware and software platforms, including but not limited to, Windows Servers (2003 – 2019), Hyper-V, VMware ESX, Aruba, Palo Alto, Cisco Routers, Switches, WLC’s, and NextGen Firewalls, and Microsoft Exchange/Office 365. He specializes in Cloud security assessments.

Brad has extensive certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCNP, MCITP as well as many other technology-specific credentials.
