Peter Schneider

Peter Schneider, MD is a board-certified, practicing vascular surgeon and co-founder of Cagent Vascular. He serves as Cagent’s Chief Medical Officer applying his surgical experience to the creation of innovative endovascular technologies.

Along with Carol Burns and Robert Giasolli, Dr. Schneider was also a co-founder of Intact Vascular. Dr. Schneider is a prolific clinical researcher and serves as a scientific advisor to numerous companies including Abbott, Boston Scientific and Medtronic. He currently holds a Professor of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery position at University of California San Francisco.

Dr. Schneider received an MD from The Johns Hopkins University, completed Residency and clinical Fellowship at University of California San Francisco and research Fellowship at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation.
