Pam Bender

Pam Bender has extensive experience in the field of education, specializing in special education and continuous improvement. Pam is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at CAHELP JPA since November 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Executive Director of Special Education and Continuous Improvement at Riverside County Office of Education from July 2019 to November 2021. Pam also served as the Executive Director of SELPA Services at Moreno Valley Unified School District from January 2012 to November 2021. Before that, they worked as a Director at Adelanto Elementary School District from March 2010 to January 2012. Pam Bender's career in education began at Redlands Unified School District, where they worked as a Coordinator from July 2003 to February 2010. Pam also served as a Coordinator at Rialto Unified School District from May 1999 to June 2003.

Pam Bender completed their Bachelor of Education degree in Drama/Special Education at The University of Lethbridge from 1984 to 1988. Pam then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Special Education at California State University-San Bernardino from 1991 to 1993. In 1999 to 2000, Pam obtained an Educational Administration Credential from Azusa Pacific University.
