Grant Downes

Grant Downes has a diverse work experience starting with their current role as a Validation Engineer at CAI since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics as a Biologics Technician 3 from July 2020 to August 2021. Grant also served as a Desk Assistant at Loyola University Maryland from September 2018 to May 2020, where they were responsible for maintaining the safety and enforcing housing policies in residence halls. In 2019, they worked as a Pool Technician at Alpa Pools & Spas, where they cleaned, serviced, and repaired customers' pools while maintaining water quality levels. Before that, they gained experience as a Referee at Loyola Intramural Sports from September 2016 to May 2018, officiating various intramural sports and ensuring a fair game. Additionally, they worked as a Busser at Houlihan's Restaurants, Inc. from April 2016 to November 2017, where they maintained cleanliness, assisted customers, and performed tasks such as prepping and cleaning tables and running food.

Grant Downes attended Loyola University Maryland from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Physics. In January 2022, they also obtained a certification in Project Management Foundations from LinkedIn.
