Kyle Lundgren has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Kyle began their career as a Research Assistant at California Polytechnic State University, where they focused on exploring the effect of nanoparticle addition to thin coat polyurethane samples. During this time, they refined procedures and optimized methods to decrease uncertainty in test results.
In 2010, they joined nLIGHT as a Product Engineer, where they were involved in the product and process development of Q-switched diode pumped lasers. Kyle also provided system troubleshooting and customer support, gaining experience in electronics and software support for system construction. Kyle later transitioned to the role of Application Engineer, conducting research and development on new industrial marking applications using lasers and studying laser material interaction for different materials.
Later, Kyle joined the University of Oregon as a Masters Internship Student, where they gained practical experience in their field of study.
Most recently, they are working as a Client Manager at CAI, where they are responsible for overseeing client accounts. Prior to this, they worked as a Process and Validation Engineer at CAI, where they created risk assessments for client equipment and collaborated with teams to develop new methods for trend analysis and discrepancy log bucketing.
