Philip O'Connell

Philip O'Connell has a range of experience in various project engineering roles. Philip started their career in 2015 at PepsiCo, where they successfully managed projects such as the construction of a new building and the implementation of an automated CIP system. During this time, they also achieved excellent results in reducing the required production of bulk tanks. In 2018, Philip worked at Stryker as a Project Engineer, where they oversaw the refurbishment of a cleanroom to accommodate a new process. Philip managed external consultants and third-party contractors to ensure the successful completion of the project. Later that year, they worked at CAI as a CSV Project Engineer before joining In Cork, where they sought new challenges.

Philip O'Connell completed a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering at Tralee Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1997. From 1998 to 1999, they earned a 2d and 3d City & Guilds Certificate in Design Draughting at FÁS Centre Bishopstown Cork. Philip then pursued a Diploma in Building & Industrial Services at Munster Technological University from 1997 to 2000. In 2011, they attended Cork Chamber Skillnet to study Influencing & Negotiating (Business Communications).
