Amy Soodi is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in policy development, writing, and consulting. Currently serving as the OECD Australian Delegate and a Scholar with Global Voices since April 2022, Amy develops research and policy papers aimed at enhancing domestic policy applications. Concurrently, Amy works as a Writer for Business News Publications at Cainz and has hold positions including Student Equity Intern at the University of Melbourne and Project Consultant at Global Consulting Group, where pro-bono consulting is provided to charities and social enterprises. Additional roles include Event Officer at Oaktree, Public Relations Officer at Funlab Pty Ltd, Front End Supervisor and Customer Service Representative at Woolworths Supermarkets, Tutor Mentor at TutorBright, Land Development Support at Yarra Valley Water, and Senior English Tutor at The In-Tuition Centre. CAINZ was started by a small group of students who were trying to address the disconnect between studies and professional work. CAINZ was built on the following key concepts: - True networking opportunities with high-status individuals and experienced professionals - Expose members to the realities of industry work through a learning-by-doing approach, allowing them to make an informed decision about their future - Nurture the enthusiasm and passion of our members CAINZ continues to aim towards bridging the gap between academia and professional practice. We achieve this by providing opportunities for members to improve their knowledge base and acquire tangible skills; raising their employability to gain the edge in this competitive environment.
