Fauziya Faruk

Fauziya Faruk serves as the Policy and Advocacy Coordinator at CAIR-CA since January 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Campaign Coordinator for the California State Assembly, where responsibilities involved developing campaign strategies and community outreach for YK for State Assembly. Fauziya also managed field activities as a Volunteer Campaign Manager for Amir Khan's school board campaign and interned at the U.S. House of Representatives, handling legislative tasks and constituent correspondence. Additionally, Fauziya has held multiple roles at the California State Assembly, including Caseworker and Legislative Assistant, and gained experience through internships with the Office of Governor Gavin Newsom, Elevate Public Affairs, CAIR National Headquarters, and The Borgen Project. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Davis.
