Leena S.

Leena S. is an experienced legal professional dedicated to civil rights and social justice, currently serving as Associate Manager of Justice Reinvestment at CAIR-CA since June 2022, after previously holding the position of Justice Reinvestment Policy Fellow. Prior experiences include supporting the CAIR-SFBA legal department as a Bridge Legal Fellow, working with the ACLU of Northern California as a Clinical Extern, interning at the Center for Constitutional Rights, and engaging in human rights litigation at the Center for Justice and Accountability. Leena has also provided legal advocacy for asylum seekers with Advocates Abroad and contributed to the University of Dayton Human Rights Center as a Student Research Fellow. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights Studies and International Studies from the University of Dayton.
