Ash Mahmoud

Ash Mahmoud has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Ash currently serves as the President of Cairo Development Ltd. Prior to this, Ash held the position of Managing Director at Strategic Group where they led the in-house construction company, Strategic Builders Inc. Ash also worked as a Project Manager at Northern Property REIT and held the role of Director of Development and Construction at both Burooj Properties and Al Barari Firm Management LLC. Earlier in their career, Ash worked as a Project Manager at ADNOC Distribution and as a Construction Manager at PENINSULAR PETROTECH ENGINEERING WLL.

Ash Mahmoud has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Construction Engineering from The American University in Cairo, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. Ash also has a Graduate Diploma in Construction Management from Heriot-Watt University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. In addition, Ash Mahmoud has a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from UBC Sauder School of Business, which they obtained from 2015 to 2019. Ash has obtained various certifications, including a Real Estate Development Certificate from the University of Calgary, a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University, and a Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
